A little bit about me.

My name is Sylvia, and my journey into alternative medicine began over four years ago. I completed the Medical Master Herbalism programme — a four-year course with the Irish School of Herbal Medicine in Portlaoise, now renamed Core College and located in Kilkenny.

I am a registered, fully insured Medical Master herbalist and, as part of my training, also qualified as an Iridologist. Iridology is the study of the coloured part of the eye (the iris). We inherit traits from our ancestors, and these can be seen in the iris. Some signs reveal strengths or “gifts,” while others may highlight areas that need a little extra care. Although iridology does not diagnose disease, it is a wonderful tool for supporting health awareness and wellbeing. A Medical Herbalist is different to a herbalist in that we have learned pathology and anatomy aswell as learning about herbs. Therefore we take a holistic view on the patient and we are not concerned about names of diseases etc as we treat the person holistically mind, body and soul.

I am also a Vitalist Nutritionist which means i see the body as a self healing self regulating system with an innate vital force or life energy that can be supposted through diet and lifestyle.

More recently, I’ve begun a new venture in Foot Reflexology and am offering sessions at a discounted rate while I complete my training. My insurance covers me to practise, and reflexology is safe at any stage of life — including for children.

Full consultation : 90 euros

Iridology reading only : 60 euros

Services

  • Full herbal consultation which takes 90 mins iridology is used ( photo or your eyes are taken on a phone ) these pictures are then used as a guide to help us decide where most you may need extra support. We go through any relevant medical history, diet, lifestyle etc and herbs if needed will be prescribed ( you do not have to buy these if you do not wish, they are not included in the 90euros ) Cost of this consultation is 90euros

  • The eyes are the window to the soul, here i take pictures of both eyes using my phone , we go through them together and i will interperate what the colours and various marking mean on both a physical and emotional/behavioural level , we do not diagnos any illness from the eyes they are merely a guide to help you see where you may need extra support in your life. This takes approx 30mins and cost is 60euros

  • Relax and unwind while getting a wonderful reflexology session, we can see on the foot where you may need extra care and this can help you with your daily lifestyle choices and help you on your journey to wellbeing. This is done while you are lying or sitting down and takes approx 60 mins including intake forms total cost at the moment is 40euros ( i am currently a student and am still in practising )

  • Prices vary here as each consultation will result in different herbs being prescribed based on iridology report and intake form. All costs will be clearly explained during the consultation. Purchasing herbs is totaly upto you and you dont have to take them if you do not wish , i have a selection of Herbal infusions ( teas ) , tinctures and powders that i use each one is made up after you leave and is individual to you and your needs and medical history, these can be collected or posted to you.
